If you run a wedding studio and need a reliable second shooter, I would love to be on your list. I'm Francis, a Victorian-trained wedding photographer now on the Gold Coast, warm and documentary, and a safe pair of hands on the day.
A second you can trust with a camera
I photographed weddings in Victoria before moving north, so I am comfortable across a full wedding day, quiet and unobtrusive around guests, and reliable with timings, dual card backups and a fast turnaround of my files. I am not trying to build a competing brand overnight. I am here to support your work on the day and hand you clean, consistent coverage.
How I work as a second
I shoot to your direction and your style, cover the angles a solo shooter cannot, and stay out of your frame. I am available across the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Byron Bay and South-East Queensland, and I am happy to meet for a coffee first so it is not just an email. Are you available to second shoot on the Gold Coast?
Yes. Second-shooting for established local studios is something I actively want to do, across the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Byron Bay.
What is your day rate as a second?
A fair day rate for an experienced second, typically in the $400 to $500 range for a full wedding day. Get in touch and we can talk specifics.
Will you poach our couples?
No. I am there to support your brand on the day, not to compete. Any use of images for my own portfolio is only ever with your permission and a credit to your studio.
