I'm Francis, a wedding photographer based on the Gold Coast and happy to travel for your day. I capture honest, unposed love stories that still feel like you in twenty years.
The approach
Relaxed, documentary, unhurried.
I look for the honest, in-between moments that actually feel like you, rather than posing you through a shot list.
My style is relaxed and documentary. I'll guide you when you need it and step back when you don't, so the day feels like yours rather than a photoshoot. The look your partner gives you when no one is watching, your mum wiping her eyes in the second row, the dance floor at 10pm when everyone has stopped being polite. Those are the frames you will keep coming back to.
I'm based on the Gold Coast and available for weddings across South-East Queensland and Northern New South Wales. I also travel often, including back to Victoria where I started out, so wherever you are marrying, I would love to hear about it.

About
Hi, I'm Francis.
I moved to the Gold Coast for the same reasons a lot of couples choose to marry here: the light, the water, and the easy, unhurried way life runs up this way. I cut my teeth photographing weddings down in Victoria, and I have brought that experience north with me. I still travel often, including back to Victoria for couples there, so distance is never the issue.
I photograph weddings the way I would want my own remembered. Less standing around waiting for the perfect pose, and more of the actual day as it unfolds. I want you to be able to look back and feel exactly what it was like to be there.
When I am not shooting weddings you will usually find me somewhere near the coast with a camera in hand. If a relaxed, documentary approach sounds like your kind of day, I would love to hear from you.
I don't always work alone. My partner Emma often joins me as a content creator, filming the day as it happens so you have a same-day highlight to share while the excitement is still fresh. She captures the moving, of-the-moment side of the day while I focus on the timeless frames.
