I'm Francis, a warm, documentary wedding photographer based just north on the Gold Coast and available right across Byron Bay and its hinterland, from the beaches to the green ridges and the estates tucked behind them.

Byron couples tend to want something unposed and true, and that is exactly my approach. I follow the day rather than direct it, chase the good light, and capture the small real moments between the big ones. A same-day social content layer with Emma is there if you want your highlights while the weekend is still going.
Byron Bay and the Northern Rivers
I photograph across Byron, the hinterland and the wider Northern Rivers, at the region's beaches, farm and ridge-top venues, and I travel to the Gold Coast, Brisbane and beyond. My experience was built photographing weddings in Victoria. As I establish in the area I am taking a limited number of introductory bookings, and I also offer a dedicated elopement collection for intimate Byron ceremonies.
